It is with heavy heart that we have to announce that the amazing & gracious Robin is no longer with us.
We have lost not only a dear friend, but a human being who only knew how to give. Our heart goes out to his amazing dance family & his family. We will be forever grateful our paths crossed. Rest in peace Bobby ❤️

Victoria has been in contact with us, Robin's Dance Partner & Friend & after a lot of deliberation (as you can imagine) she decided that she would still like to teach & perform at our Ilkley Weekender in June.
We are very pleased about this, as Victoria is an amazing person, dancer & friend & this will still keep a little bit of Robin with us.

Victoria's partner will be Stephen Vincent, this is just a little bit about him & you can watch both Victoria & Stephen in our short video clip below:
Theatre credits include ‘Latin Fever’ (West End), ‘Simply Ballroom’ (UK, South Africa & Dubai), ‘Cheek to Cheek’ (West End, London), ‘Burn The Floor’ 2006 (Australia, China, and USA) and Burn The Floor 2010 (USA, Europe & Australia). He has toured with Giovanni Pernice for 2 years across UK and has also returned to Burn The Floor touring in 2019.
Stephen’s latest achievement is becoming a professional on Dancing with the Stars Ireland, reaching the final in 2022...

A little bit about Victoria
Belfast born, Victoria started Latin & Ballroom dancing from the age of 4. Her love for dancing has took her to study in England, Holland and Italy, resulting in prestigious awards throughout her career such as Amateur & Professional Rising Star Champions.

After 22 years she decided to retire from competitive dancing and found herself in the midst of television, she appeared on “Ballando con le stelle” (Italy’s Dancing with the Stars) through 2007-2012.
2014, saw Victoria finally join “Burn the Floor” something she had always dreamt of. Since then she has performed on Norweigan cruise lines as well as travelled the world with Burn The Floor’s touring company.

Lee & Dawn Perrot (Modern Jive World Champions on numerous occasions) also Teachers of Latin Ballroom for well over 20 years, and downright lovely, funny people. We are honoured they agreed to join this amazing line up 🙏

Keith & Janey with Lee & Dawn, will be your Main Modern Jive Teacher’s - they have performed on the same stage as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Katie Melua & worked alongside Alisha Dixon on the BBC, Keith with Vicky also won the Ceroc Scottish & World Showcase 2018/19.

Linz, the Queen of Choreography, WCS & Amazing Solo Fun Dances, keeping things fun and getting everyone into the groove - a firm favourite with ALL our dancers.

Latest addition, the phenomenal, Nele & Jasper Owners of Jive Berlin, with weekly classes and monthly parties, they host 2 weekenders a year - with one of them including the German Modern Jive Championships! Nele and Jasper competed at the World Modern Jive Championships and Nele placed 1st with Vicky Mykytiuk in “Here come the Girls” specialising in smooth Kiwi/Australian style of Modern Jive & musicality.

We always aim to provide amazing Modern Jive Weekenders, whilst also dipping your toe into dances such as Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Blues, American Swing & Lindy Hop plus our now famous fun group dance and this weekender is no exception, see below. Workshops will grow progressively throughout the weekend, starting with foundation & more basic moves, or tricks you can do with a more basic move, getting more in-depth & trickier as the weekend progresses.
So no matter what level you are at, you should find quite a lot to suit:

We are heavily Modern Jive, with a further split of Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Zouk, Blues, Lindy/1940’s Swing + a great favourite of our dancers, the Fun Group Dance (Dances vary from Weekender to weekender - See above for Ilkley).
