Both have had a phenomenal dance career, from dancing on Broadway & the West End, being the Professional Dancers on the BBC Strictly Shows (Ireland & Italy) Lead Dancers with Burn the Floor, Sell Out UK Tours with Vincent Simone, Ian Waite, Giovanni Pernice, whilst Victoria is presently the Lead Lady in Vincent Simone & Ian Waites New Show ‘the Magic of Dance’.
Lee & Dawn Perrot (Modern Jive World Champions on numerous occasions) also Teachers of Latin Ballroom for well over 20 years, and downright lovely, funny people. We are honoured they agreed to join this amazing line up 🙏
Keith & Janey with Lee & Dawn, will be your Main Modern Jive Teacher’s - they have performed on the same stage as the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Katie Melua & worked alongside Alisha Dixon on the BBC, Keith with Vicky also won the Ceroc Scottish & World Showcase 2018/19.
Linz, the Queen of Choreography, WCS & Amazing Solo Fun Dances, keeping things fun and getting everyone into the groove - a firm favourite with ALL our dancers.
Latest addition, the phenomenal, Nele & Jasper Owners of Jive Berlin, with weekly classes and monthly parties, they host 2 weekenders a year - with one of them including the German Modern Jive Championships! Nele and Jasper competed at the World Modern Jive Championships and Nele placed 1st with Vicky Mykytiuk in “Here come the Girls” specialising in smooth Kiwi/Australian style of Modern Jive & musicality.
We always aim to provide amazing Modern Jive Weekenders, whilst also dipping your toe into dances such as Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Blues, American Swing & Lindy Hop plus our now famous fun group dance and this weekender is no exception, see below. Workshops will grow progressively throughout the weekend, starting with foundation & more basic moves, or tricks you can do with a more basic move, getting more in-depth & trickier as the weekend progresses.
So no matter what level you are at, you should find quite a lot to suit:
We are heavily Modern Jive, with a further split of Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing, Zouk, Blues, Lindy/1940’s Swing + a great favourite of our dancers, the Fun Group Dance (Dances vary from Weekender to weekender - See above for Ilkley).
