This is our premier MJ Venue & has a feel of a Freestyle Night, due to the amount of dancers who join us & the enjoyment that you can feel in the air! The bar is back open.

We tend to have a lovely gender balance, so everyone should enjoy plenty of dances throughout the evening. No Partner, No Experience Required.

Every class night starts with an absolute beginners class & we have lots of helpers.
No Partner is required, 2 Left Feet we love! It’s definitely the easiest & most fun way to keep fit whilst learning something fun & new.

Our classes are 70% Fun & 30% Learning, as we find the more fun you have, the more you seem to learn. For our beginners you will also get a second bite of the cherry with a second beginner ‘refresher’ class later in the same night at No Extra Cost.

The beginners class - Get your 2nd Class Free. For those who have never danced before, don’t worry if you have 2 left feet, or don’t have a partner, we have everything in place for you. We have people from 18 years to 80+ Years of age. We love to dance & love to see all levels, from absolute beginner to Intermediate and above. If you just enjoy relearning & cementing moves you’ve already learnt, then please feel free to join this class as well.

Intermediate, Advance Class Is in our Main Room often incorporating moves from other styles such as Argentine Tango, Salsa, West Coast Swing, Latin Ballroom, even Zouk. Modern Jive has always been & will always be a fusion of dance styles, so you’ll never ever get bored.

Once you register you can pay by phone & it’s very easy. If your phone doesn’t allow Apps, you can phone them (Phone number will be added once I visit the site) and pay by credit card. There is a lot of on-street parking all around. The carpark will still be locked at the end of the evening, but you have around 30 min’s after we play the last track, so no mad rush.

Keith (Often your Teacher) & Vicky became the World Modern Jive & Scottish Ceroc Champions in 2018/19, so you really are being taught by the best, however:

Our philosophy on learning, is that it has to be fun, Modern Jive is a social dance, where people of all ages and backgrounds meet to socialise. So although we teach modern jive with a real flare, you cannot help but get caught up in the enthusiasm which helps to create great fun nights, whether it’s a: Class Night, Freestyle, Workshop, Weekender or Holiday

So if you want to learn something new; on your own or with a friend/partner, keep fit without it feeling like hard work, or meet new people, a Revolution Night will be just the thing and remember, almost 100% of Modern Jiver’s had no formal dance experience before they went to their first class, so you’ll never be alone if it’s your first time and have 2 left feet, people with two left feet are our speciality, so don’t be shy.

No partner nor experience required
Clothing should be comfortable & footwear should allow you to spin, therefore no training shoes...
