In 1999, Keith and Janey Davies decided to start their first dance company, Chance 2 Dance. They noticed that there weren’t any weekenders or competitions in the whole of the North of England, so they thought big and booked the Winter Gardens & Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, which is considered the Dance Mecca of the World. Within two years, they had over 1,500 Modern Jive dancers from all over the UK, Australia & Europe joining them for this annual pilgrimage.

In 2006, Keith & Janey launched Revolution Dance. It started with one class night a week and one freestyle a month, but they still guest taught and performed Modern Jive around the UK and locally for companies like Ceroc, Blitz, Salsa Jive, and Cinnamon Jive.

They now teach all over the UK and Europe, including Spain, Germany, Italy, Austria, and have even performed in Cuba and Mexico. Keith and his then dance partner, Vicky, were the World Modern Jive Champions & Ceroc Scottish Champions in the ‘Showcase’ category in 2019/20. Keith is presently putting together a new cabaret piece with his new dance partner Sam.

As a company, it’s grown and now offer Modern Jive:

- A weekly class night - One of the largest in the UK!
- Three monthly freestyles
- Four 4* dance weekends per year, which include classes on Latin Ballroom, Argentine Tango, Blues, West Coast Swing, and many other styles.
- One 4* all-inclusive dance holiday per year, which also offers other dance styles.
- Workshops & Special Events like theatre trips with special meet-and-greets, with many BBC Strictly & Burn the Floor Stars and World Champions!

Keith and his team have had the pleasure of working with many companies over the years, including Jive Addiction, Rock Bottoms, LeRoc, Ceroc, Salsa & Lindy Hop Companies. Modernjive.com, Jive live, Top Cat Dance Scotland, ravel-quest, Costa Del Jive, MJ Roc, Adrenalin Jive, Club Dance Holidays, and many others. Keith still loves spreading his dance wings.
